Police search for Luke Pullman, reported missing from Greenhithe

A mum has made a desperate plea for her son, who has been missing for around a week, to come home.

Luke Pullman, 38, from Winston Close, Greenhithe, has not made contact with his family since last week.

He is described as a white man of heavy build, bald on top with hair at sides, a thick brown beard and a slight scar on his left cheek.

Mr Pullman’s mum, Christina McDermott has said she is desperate him son to come home.

Mrs McDermott said: “I just want him to come home. He doesn’t go anywhere and he definitely wouldn’t go off for a week without telling me.

“I’m desperate for him to get in touch. He’s got two sisters who are also desperate for him to come home.

“He doesn’t disappear. It’s out of character and it is so not like him.”

She said it is likely Mr Pullman had a beige army-type rucksack with him, as he usually takes it everywhere.

He usually dresses in jeans, trainers and a T-shirt. Mrs McDermott also said he may be wearing a dull green hoodie.

“Somebody must have seen something, he would normally take his car to go to Asda or Bluewater and he left it at home.

"We’re desperate for any news, please get in touch.”

Mr Pullman left his wallet and phone at home and it is not thought he has any cash with him.

Police have been conducting house to house inquiries in the area and searching residents’ gardens.

Police dogs are also searching wasteland in the area, including alleyways and fenced-off derelict land.

The police helicopter and marine units have also been searching the area.

Anyone who has seen Luke or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact Kent Police on 101, quoting incident number 11-0900.
