Blaze at storage unit in Ash Road, Hartley, causes thousands of pounds' worth of damage

An investigation has been launched after a fire ripped through a storage unit causing thousands of pounds' worth of damage.

The blaze occurred at a business premises in Ash Road, Hartley, on June 4 at around 5.20pm.

Officers are treating the fire as suspicious and have been conducting door-to-door inquiries and retrieved CCTV as part of the investigation.

The incident is believed to have caused thousands of pounds’ worth of damage.

Police are urging any witnesses who have not yet come forward to call and provide any information that could assist with inquiries.
