Tony Burman he is disappointed by Dartford’s start to life in Blue Square Bet South and says his side will have to show more quality in order to establish themselves.

Burman (pictured) felt his squad deserved more than the five points they have picked up in their opening six games.

But the Darts boss says he will not shuffle his pack to try and solve the problem and backed his squad to come good in time.

He said: "I can’t fault the work rate. I feel a bit sorry for the players because they’ve deserved more than they’ve got so far and they know they’re close to doing things. In this league sometimes you need a bit of quality, it just hasn’t been there.

"I’m disappointed with only five points and so are the players but we are not far away.

"We have not been slaughtered by anyone. It’s been a difficult two weeks but now we have time to reflect. I have a squad and people will get their chance.

"It is a long season. I will have a look at where we are after 10 or 15 games but I’m not about to re-assess any goals right now."

Billy Burgess could be sidelined for two weeks with a shoulder injury, while Tom Goodacre is suspended for Saturday’s visit of Weston-super-Mare, though James White (hamstring) could return.
