WHITES boss Andy Hessenthaler has admitted he faces a difficult juggling act in the final league games of the season.

Hessenthaler (pictured) wants to give key members of his Dover squad a breather ahead of the Blue Square South play-offs but also has his sights set on second place.

"We’ve got to be careful with the squad as there are people carrying knocks and there are good players sitting on the bench," said Hessenthaler, ahead of Saturday’s match at home to Weymouth.

"We want to finish second so it’s a tricky one. I think we’ll go strong to get another result and then see where we are leading up to the Newport game.

"It’s looking that if we are going to get second, we need to be strong right to the end. But having a fit set of players for the play-offs is more important than getting second."

Finishing as runners-up would give Dover home advantage in the second leg of the play-off semi-final as well as the one-off final, which is due to be played on Thursday, May 6.

Frannie Collin and Sam Moore (hamstring) are unlikely to feature against Weymouth on Saturday but could return for the trip to Newport the following weekend.
