DEAL bowler Shaun McCaughan has been selected for the England Under-25 indoor squad for the third year in a row.

McCaughan, 22, from Cavell Square, made his international debut in 2001 and has won seven of his eight England indoor matches so far.

He will be playing against Wales in the Bernard Telfer Trophy in Gloucestershire on November 16, followed by his third appearance in the British Isles Under-25 international series at Fareham, in Hampshire, on January 10-11. He will be skipping one of the England rinks.

A member of Folkestone Indoor BC, McCaughan is hoping to atrract some sponsorship support as he looks to further his international career.
