Dover have signed 26-year-old striker Michael Bakare from Chelmsford City.
Bakare scored five goals in 14 appearances at the end of last season during what was his second spell with the Clarets.
Having played for Leyton, Welling and Thurrock in the early part of his career, Bakare joined Bishop's Stortford in 2010 where he netted 13 times in 35 games.
Chelmsford boss Glenn Pennyfather brought him to the Melbourne Stadium in October 2011, but just three months later he was snapped up by Maccesfield Town.
Bakare was released following the Silkmen's relegation from League 2 at the end of the season and he signed for Southport.
Last season he played 21 times for the Sandgrounders in Conference Premier and he also had a loan spell at Droylsden before rejoining Chelmsford in March.
Bakare is Chris Kinnear's second new signing of the summer, following the arrival of defender Craig Stone from Ebbsfleet United.
