Closure of Minnis Lane in River will see changes to Stagecoach bus routes

The closure of Minnis Lane in River will mean bus services will not be running as usual.

The road was closed on Tuesday (August 19) and will remain shut till Saturday (August 23) in order for the council to undertake maintenance repair work.

Bus company Stagecoach issued a warning that this will mean no buses to Minnis Lane and Lower Road in River and Lower Road in Temple Ewell.

The buses affected will be 15B, 60 and 60A.

This will not affect the whole route as there will be diversions in place.

For the 15B Dover bound, buses will continue along London Road to Crabble Hill where it will turn right into River.

It will then continue along to the end of Lewisham Road where it will turn and pick up the usual route.

The 15B Canterbury bound will take the regular route as far as Lewisham Road where it will turn back along the same road to Crabble Hill and then turn left on to London Road.

The 60 and 60B bus heading towards B&Q will also divert along Lewisham Road, on to Crabble Hill and then turn left on to London Road.

The town bound bus will take its normal route as far as Pilgrims Way, to the London Road junction or the bottom of Whitfield Hill.

It will then turn left into London Road and right on to Crabble Hill. At the end of Lewisham Road it will also pick up the normal route.
