Cannabis plants found in house raid

NEARLY 100 cannabis plants have been seized by police after they swooped on a house in a Kent town.

Officers raided the property in Dover's Glenfield Road, where they discovered 93 cannabis plants in the bedrooms and seized power units, cables, cultivation equipment and a large fan.

The raid at the hydroponics factory on Wednesday was launched following information gained by the local Neighbourhood Policing Team.

Police say investigations at the address are continuing and no-one has been arrested at this time.
