CAMPAIGNERS fighting to save Ripple School near Dover are urging their supporters to turn out one last time for what they say is "the end game".

They say it is crucial that as many people as possible attend this evening's public meeting about the future of the school to show the level of support it has.

At the meeting, independent adjudicator Dr Alan Billings, with whom the final decision on whether or not the school should shut now rests, will hear the arguments for and against closure.

It will be held in Ripple village hall, opposite Ripple School, starting at 5.45pm.

In a letter to parents of pupils at the school, John Adams, the school's chairman of governors, says that the meeting is "extremely important".

He stressed: "Please make every effort to be there and bring as many friends and family as you can. We need to have the village hall packed with our supporters."

Mr Adams also spoke to KM-fm about the issue...
