A MAN has appeared in court charged with attempted murder following an incident in Dover in July.

Zamir Veseli, 26, of no fixed address, was arrested last Wednesday and appeared at Folkestone Magistrates Court on Friday.

A 29-year-old man from Dover suffered a stab wound to his chest during an incident just before 12.30pm on Tuesday, July 31 in London Road, at the junction with Beaconsfield Road, Dover.

The victim was treated at Kings College Hospital in London.
