Man tried to drag teenager into car

KENT Police are hunting a man who attempted to drag a young woman into his car.

The incident happened as the 18-year-old woman was walking along Folkestone Road, Dover, near the BP Priory filling station.

A dark Ford Escort car stopped beside her and the driver started talking to the woman.

Police said he then tried to drag her into the car, but she managed to break free, run away and report the incident to the police.

The offender is described as a man of Asian appearance, with a quiff hair style and black polo neck top.

The incident occurred shortly after 9pm on Saturday, December 1.
