Prince meets families of frontline troops

THE Prince of Wales today visited Dover to meet some of the the wives and children of servicemen engaged in Gulf war.

The Prince spoke to around 100 family members of soldiers of the First Battalion of the Parachute Regiment.

The purpose of the visit was to lend support to families concerned about their loved ones who are trained for frontline action.

It was the first of a number of visits by members of the Royal Family to military establishments in various parts of the country. Prince Andrew is due to visit Canterbury next Wednesday.
