Two arrested after police find cannabis cultivation in Dover

A stolen bike has lead police to discover a suspected cannabis cultivation in Dover.

Officers investigating a report that a stolen bike had been seen in the St Margaret's Bay area discovered a number of plants in a property.

While searching the property in The Droveway on Thursday afternoon, officers discovered and seized 20 cannabis plants, as well as two bags of the Class B drug.

A 35-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman were arrested as part of the investigation, and have been released while enquiries continue.

Four stolen bikes were also seized at the property, and officers are working to find out who they belong to so that they can be returned.
