The parade will start from 11am at Maison Dieu Gardens before travelling through to the Market Square and the Roman Lawn. Registration starts at 9am.

Music, entertainment and a makers' market will also be available to enjoy for free during the celebrations from 9am to 4pm.

Dover Pride, which is sponsored by the Port of Dover, Future Foundry and the National Education Union is a community event designed to raise awareness, support and respect for the LGBTQ+ community.

There will be two stages of entertainment with the music programme including Amrick Channa from the X-Factor and The Voice, dance troupe Haus Of Heels and TikTok sensation Sophia Stardust.

Both La Salle Verte, also known as Pride Cafe, and the Roman Lawn will have entertainment throughout the day.

The extra event is new for 2023 and will also take place on the Roman Lawn for people aged 14 and over.

Tickets are £5 each and those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

A further celebration, the After Dark Party, for over 18s only is set to take place at The Attic Bar and NightClub.

Entry is free before 10.30pm and £5 after.

To join the march, you can register on Eventbrite as well as on the day.

The people with entry tickets will receive a free priority pass to the Roman Lawn, between York Street and Market Sqaure, at the end of the march.
