Man attacked in his home in Erith Street, Dover, and suffers knife wounds

A man was attacked with fists, boots and a knife at his doorstep.

A gang forced their way into his property.

He suffered two injuries consistent with knife wounds and bruising as a result of being kicked and punched. The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

It happened at Erith Street, Dover, between 9.30pm and 9.47pm on Monday.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "The group of men are all described as being black, but there are no further descriptions of the suspects at this stage".

Detectives are appealing for information after an assault at a property in Erith Street, Dover, between 9.30pm and 9.47pm on Monday.
