Ross Lafayette scored one and made the other on his debut to help Dover record their first Vanarama National League win of the season against new-boys North Ferriby at Crabble.
The much travelled striker, signed in midweek, who replaced suspended Ricky Miller, set-up the first for new strike partner Moses Emmanuel, before opening his account with the second, 15 minutes from time to settle the contest.
Dover dominated the game throughout with more than 26 shots on goal in the game, and went close to getting a third, with Emmanuel seeing his effort saved by busy North Ferriby goalkeeper Rory Watson, and substitute Tyrone Marsh went close just before the end.
Emmanuel opened his account in his second spell with the Whites after 34 minutes.
Lafayette and Ricky Modeste were both involved in the build-up, before the ex-Bromley man finished things off.
Moments later Dover keeper Steve Arnold kept his side level, tipping the ball over the bar from North Ferriby skipper Danny Clark.
Boss Chris Kinnear made two changes with Tyrone Sterling recalled in place of Richard Orlu at the back, while Miller sat out the game, following his sending off in the 4-1 home defeat by Boreham Wood in midweek.
Modeste went close early on, and Sam Magri saw his header saved.
Arnold then produced his save of the afternoon to denyConnor Robinson.
Emmanuel then shot his save by Rory Watson, before his goal broke the deadlock.
Jim Stevenson picked up the first booking of the game soon after half-time, while North Ferriby pair, skipper Danny Clark and Watson were also cautioned,
Watson threw the ball away after taking exception to ref Chris O'Donnell's decision to award a corner after stopping a shot from Magri, while Clark was punished for a heavy challenge on Chris Kinnear.
