Red-haired beauty Catherine Thomas was pipped at the post in the Britain’s Next Top Model contest.

Catherine, 18, of Folkestone, was beaten by Alexandra Evans, also 18, in the final on Living TV on Monday.

In the 90-minute special three girls participated in their last photoshoot before one, Stefanie Wilson, was eliminated.

Catherine and Alexandra were then left to battle it out for the title.

The competition started with 14 aspiring models who were mentored by a series of guest judges and contributors, including Jemima French and Sophie Conrad.
