Horses on loose in Gravesend recovered by police

A pair of horses running wild since this morning had to be rounded up by police.

They were spotted straying onto the road in Watling Street, Gravesend.

But by 3pm officers had recovered the two equine animals and have asked for anyone with information regarding them to call 101 quoting CAD 14-0368.

These weren't the only horses roaming free this morning as four others were spotted walking along St Martins Hill in Canterbury at 2.30am.

Tracy was woken by her son saying "there's horses out there" but did not believe it until she saw it for herself.

Their welfare is not known but Tracy believes she saw someone who may have been the owner following behind in a car to take them home.
