An accident on the A2 at Gravesend has left drivers stuck in grid locked traffic.

It is unknown how many vehicles were involved in the collision but it has left traffic piling up between the Gravesend Central and Gravesend East turn-offs.

The traffic is going London-bound and begins just by the Inn on the Lake hotel and finishes close to the former Tollgate motel.

Two ambulances and a paramedics car attended the incident.
