Husband-and-wife Colin and Irene Gibbs, and Colin Senneck will be playing for England in the Home Nations Championship in Inverness from August 7-8 while Joyce Nash will make her England debut this weekend when she plays in a pre-European Cup invitation competition in Luxembourg.

The two Gibbs and Senneck booked their trip to Scotland in a qualifying competition at Luton and for all three it will be their second England appearance since they made their debuts in the 2007 Home Nations event – which was also held in Inverness.

Nash has been playing petanque for 13 years and said: "I have had to wait a long time for this moment!"
