Machete threat in raid at wine store

A ROBBER entered a shop and threatened a cashier with a machete as he snatched about £200 in cash from the till.

The raider struck at Threshers wine merchants in Parrock Road, Gravesend, on Saturday, May 20, at about 1pm. After leaving the store he went in the direction Echo Square.

Police in North Kent say the robber is white and aged between 25 and 30. He is of slim build and around 6ft tall.

He was wearing a beige fleece, a blue padded gillett, dark blue jeans and black trainers.
