The Meapa Gymnastics Club’s Lauren Lethbridge has been called into the Great Britain squad for a training camp for gymnasts with a disability in Germany.

Lethbridge travels to Berlin after winning a gold medal in the Gynmastics and Movement for People with a Disability class at the 33rd annual club championships

Dozens of youngsters aged seven to 15 took part, vying for titles on the vault, floor, beam and bars, while a host of other titles were awarded. Hollie Podger won the Rachel Lohan Cup, Eliesh Keene took the John Cherry Trophy, Georgia Mae Fenton the Gravesham Trophy, Annaya Appleby-Mason the John Ward Trophy and Natasha Loftus was crowned senior champion.

Caitlin Firth, 7, Jenna Pratt, 8, Jordon Thompson, 9, Olivia Bell, 12, and Megan Stringer, 15, were given the special awards for dedication to the club.
