Teenagers due at Medway Magistrates' Court after stabbing in Gravesend

Three teenagers will appear in court today charged in connection with an assault that left a man seriously injured from a stab wound.

Police confirmed they made a third arrest at the weekend and later charged the suspect following the incident in Christian Fields Avenue on Saturday, January 14.

Daniel Dos Santos, 18, from in Hackney, London, was arrested on Sunday and charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and with conspiring to steal from another.

He is due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court today with Christopher Bowman, 18, from Bow, London, and Silas Kelly, 18, of Jubilee Crescent, Gravesend, who have also been charged in connection with the incident.

Bowman has been charged with the same offences as Dos Santos, while Kelly has been charged with the single count of conspiring to steal from another.

Four other people arrested in connection with the incident remain on bail.

The injured man has since been released from hospital.
