The 17-year-old was inspired to make the street her stage to pay tribute to the memory of her great-nan.

"I thought why not give something back to the NHS with all they are doing," she said.

"So in remembrance of my great-nan, who was an Irish nurse, I decided to perform outside in my road after the 8pm clap for the NHS to thank them for all their hard work in this crucial time."

Shannon has been dancing since she was five years old and trains four or five times a week to keep in peak performance condition.

The teenager is studying for her A-levels and has been applying with her predicted grades to get a place on a writing course at university.

"My real dream is to join an Irish dancing show," she added.
