Woman released without charge

A 23-year-old woman has been released without charge 23 hours after being arrested on suspicion of assault in Gravesend.

Officers were called to Harmer Street, Gravesend at 3.30pm yesterday.

The woman wais arrested and held overnight in cells at Northfleet area headquarters.

Police were called to the Georgian flats that line Harmer Street while carrying out vehicle checks nearby.
