STRIKER Onome Sodje has played his last game for Gravesend & Northfleet following his recall by Premier League neighbours Charlton.

The quicksilver 17-year-old, who created a big impact after joining the Fleet on a season-long work experience, returned to The Valley last month to prepare for an FA Youth Cup tie and has not been available since.

Manager Liam Daish explained: "I gather that Onome picked up an injury. His last game for us was at Kettering. Since then we went on a run and he couldn’t get back into the starting line-up.

"I haven’t seen or heard from him for a while. I gather he could join Welling when he’s fit."
