Ebbsfleet have signed Luke Coulson from Barnet.
The midfielder joined the Bees from Eastleigh midway through last season and made 11 appearances in League 2.
Coulson caught the eye playing against Fleet for Oxford City in National League South and he becomes Daryl McMahon's sixth summer signing.
Coulson came through the Manchester City academy before moving to the United States to study and play football in Michigan.
On his return to England in 2012, he signed for Cardiff City and made his one appearance for the Bluebirds as a substitute in their FA Cup defeat away to Macclesfield Town.
Coulson joined Oxford City in January 2015 and the following season was a thorn in Ebbsfleet's side in both league and cup matches.
He scored a stunning free-kick at Stonebridge Road, flicking the ball up for himself before volleying the ball in off the crossbar from 25 yards.
Soon after, he ran the show in midfield as City knocked Fleet out of the FA Trophy.
That sort of form earned him a move to Eastleigh in January 2016 and after a year with the National League club, he stepped up again when Barnet came calling.
Ebbsfleet manager Daryl McMahon told the club's website: "Luke has good experience, he’s a player that will be familiar to Ebbsfleet fans. We all know what he was like at Oxford City, he terrorised us a couple of times.
"He’s another one who’s exciting and direct, good pace and a powerful runner. He’s a good one-versus-one player who can get goals.
"He went from Oxford to Eastleigh and did really well for them.
"He was talked of about getting a move to the Championship at the time. It didn’t quite come through for him and it hasn’t really worked out for him at Barnet but he’s coming in here at 23 years old and we’ve got another one at a good young age with so much potential to do very well for us."
