Ebbsfleet will be aiming to prevent Aldershot from winning promotion to the Football League when they take on Gary Waddock's side at Stonebridge Road tonight.

If Aldershot win and Torquay fail to beat Oxford then the Shots will win the title.

Fleet have had a mixed bag of results since beating Aldershot in the FA Trophy semi-final last month and go into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw with Woking.

Ebbsfleet manager Liam Daish said: "We've got a good challenge in front of us.

"They beat us in the league earlier on and we've got the bragging rights with the FA Trophy.

"We'll be looking to play like we did on Saturday and hopefully score a few more goals."

Defender James Smith could return after recovering from a hamstring injury while striker Chukki Eribenne (ankle) is likely to miss out.

John Akinde (abdominal strain) is likely to be rested.
