DAISH: "Maybe we think we are better than what we are at the moment"

MANAGER Liam Daish has issued a warning to his Gravesend & Northfleet players after seeing his side crash out of the FA Trophy.

Fleet suffered a 3-0 defeat against Nationwide Conference strugglers Northwich Victoria in the quarter-final.

The performance left Daish fuming and he has called on his players to show the right reaction when they return to league action at Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday.

He said: "Maybe we think we are better than what we are at the moment. I hope we don’t think that as we have got to realise what we are about."

Daish could be forced to make changes to his starting line-up with Mark DeBolla, Stacy Long and Luke Moore all struggling with injuries.
