Snow and frost caused the postponement and abandonment of several matches in Sunday’s North Kent Sunday league programme.

But the games that did go ahead served up plenty of excitement. Swanscombe Tigers Reserves pulled off a memorable win against Senior Division Hollisters in the Gravesend and Dartford Messenger Senior Cup.

Hollisters led by two goals at the break before the Division 1 side hit back to take the game into extra-time where they scored twice more. Daryll Waters (2), Michael Hartley (2) and Lee Allaway netted for Tigers. Prescott, Morris and Crow replied for Hollisters.

In another game that went to extra-time, New Ash Green just got through by the odd goal in seven against Vigo. Jamie Stoyles and Scott Pemberton scored twice each for New Ash Green. Dave Armstrong (2) and Andy Bishop replied for Vigo.

Fulwich Hotel had an easy passage through to the next round of the John Robinson League Cup A at the expense of Hartley Athletic. Russell Cooke (3), Christian Cooke (2) and Ahrar Hussein scored the goals in the 6-0 win
