A TALK on leadership marked West Malling-based firm Vue Recruitment and Training's fourth anniversary.

Director Vanessa Jarrett invited more than 40 clients to The Swan in West Malling for the Champagne event.

Vanessa told them how the company had doubled its customer base in those four years.

Trainer Dale Gunstone gave some insights into how to be an effective leader.

The celebration was also held in support of Demelza House, the children's hospice in Sittingbourne.

Dr Anthony Medhurst, deputy head of fundraising, thanked the company for donating training to staff and volunteers. Vanessa pledged further support to the charity in the year ahead.

She said: "I have got a lot to be thankful for. Since 1998, I have a company that has gone from strength to strength. We have moved into a delightful oak-beamed office with hi-tech training suite and gained a diverse range of satisfied customers."
