Keeping in touch over lunch

NOBODY can deny the added impact of e-commerce as Kent Gateway Chamber, which includes Ashford and Shepway Chambers of Commerce, gets increasing hits on its new information website www.kentnetworking.com

More and more of the 1,500 strong membership is communicating as part of the latest package provided, that also includes cheaper phone calls and healthcare deals. But alongside all the latest modern aids Ashford Chamber has never forgotten the values of traditional face-to-face contact.

Regular networking lunches, pulling together members representing a vast range of business and commerce throughout East Kent are proving increasingly popular.

Pictured in the front row of this recent gathering at the Little Silvers Hotel, Tenterden, are

Jo James, Martin Phippen (chairman), Oliver and Christine Johnson (hotel owners), Mayor of Ashford, Susie McCrae (director) and Chris Capron.
