New car reward for High Flyer

A COSMETICS sales manager from Maidstone is celebrating after being presented with a new Suzuki Vitara by her employers, Virgin Cosmetics. Mother-of-three Jeannett Bellamy, 39, of London Road, Ditton, was given the vehicle after achieving the gold level of the Branson's High Flyer's Club.

The awards, launched in 1999, recognise the achievements and consultants and managers who achieve excellent sales figures. To reach the gold level, Mrs Bellamy's consultants had to make £120,000 of sales in four months.

She said: "That is quite a lot when you think about the price of a lipstick." Mrs Bellamy, married with children aged 17, nine and six, began working for the company in 1999 after giving up her job as a architectural draftsman. She has become an area sales manager and oversees 150 consultants in Kent.

She said: "Because of my children I wanted to do something more flexible and build my own business." As part of her prize, Mrs Bellamy is also invited to attend a dinner with Virgin boss Richard Branson at his Roof Gardens restaurant in Kensington in October.
