PRINCE Andrew will visit the Isle of Thanet to present a Queen's Award for international trade. He will be at Award International Ltd, at Cliftonville on Monday, December 9 and will open the firm’s American office by cyberlink before being given a guided tour of the Thanet premises.

The firm develops promotional merchandise and corporate events for the likes of Pepsi, Sky TV and Westwood based Hornby Hobbies.

It is one of a select number of companies in the South East to be chosen for the award this year after trebling its overseas trade in the past three years by securing contracts in the Middle East and South America.
