Small business complains over wage rise

SMALL businesses in Kent are protesting against proposed increases in the minimum wage because they claim the rises will be unsustainable.

The Trades Union Congress wants Britain's lowest earners to receive £6 per hour by 2006.

But company owners in the county are becoming increasingly tired of red tape.
