Kent Young Apprentice star Steven Cole backs Young Enterprise The Tenner scheme

Kent's Young Apprentice candidate has revealed what exactly he would spend £10 on to generate more money for the community.

Steven Cole, 18, of Chancery Lane, Maidstone - and former pupil at Mascalls School in Paddock Wood, is supporting ‘The Tenner scheme’ run by education charity Young Enterprise.

It’s designed to promote business thinking and action to create community improvements.
Steven said: “If I was given a tenner right now I would go on a website, like Gumtree or eBay and buy something as cheaply as possible. I’d then sell that on for 100 per cent profit first. Then I’d build on that.”

Last year viewers saw Lord Alan Sugar heap praise on the youngster for his honesty and openness.

But that wasn’t enough to dodge a point of the tycoon’s finger and: “You’re fired.”
