Cannabis cultivation seized in drug raid at house in Wagtail Walk, Finberry estate, Ashford

More than 100 cannabis plants have been seized following a drug raid on a new-build housing estate.

Witnesses say police officers were at a house on Ashford’s Finberry estate for most of the day and were seen removing equipment.

Pictures showed mounds of silver insulation tubing commonly used to grow the drug being removed from the home in Wagtail Walk and put into the back of a van.

The force has since confirmed officers seized more than 100 cannabis plants during a warrant at a property on the morning of Tuesday, April 25.

Inquiries are ongoing to trace those behind the cultivation.
