1,000 game birds killed

One thousand baby game birds have been killed after arsonists set light to three breeding huts.

Police are now calling for witnesses after the two fires at Knowle Game Farm in Ulcombe.

The first incident occurred approximately three weeks ago when the owner found one of the huts burnt down.

The second happened between Wednesday, June 11 and Tuesday, June 17, where two more huts were discovered destroyed by fire.

It is believed the fires were started by setting alight to a gas pipe near to the huts.
