POLICE in Mid Kent are appealing for information after a number of lights were damaged at Staplehurst Cricket Club in the town's Frittenden Road.

Two teenage suspects were seen in the area at the time of the incident on the afternoon of Saturday, February 24.

Both are described as white, aged between 13 and 15, around 5ft 6in tall, slim and wearing dark coloured clothing. One may have had white stripes on his trousers.

It is believed that they could have sustained minor injuries, or damage to their clothing as it is alleged that they climbed through brambles and barbed wire when they left the area. It is also possible they left a bike behind.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Marc Pennicott on 01622 604392, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 – this call is free and confidential.
