A 29-year-old woman accused of manslaughter after a car incident in which a man died has appeared before a judge at Maidstone Crown Court.

Victoria Catlin, of High Street, Isle of Grain, near Rochester, will enter a plea to the charge when she returns to court on September 10.

Vincent Wilson, 21, from London, died after the incident with the Rover car in High Street, Isle of Grain, on June 16.

John Causer, prosecuting, said there would be "something like" 50 witnesses in the case.

Judge Andrew Patience, QC, granted Catlin bail on conditions including residence at Martin Square, Larkfield, reporting twice weekly to Maidstone Police, not entering Lower Stoke and not leaving the UK.
