£50million Bexley First project to be discussed

TONIGHT will see the second meeting to discuss the council's £50 million Bexley First Project.

Announced three months ago, it involves the sell-off of council offices across the borough and the demolition of the civic offices in Bexley.

Early proposals suggest the new building in its place will be for mixed use, possibly including shops, businesses and homes.

The meeting of the Cabinet Advisory Group for Bexley First will take place from 7.30pm and will bring an update on the project since specialist consultants were brought in to begin planning the development in July.
