Antoine Anicotte in court after Dover shooting

An 18-year-old man who was arrested following a shooting in Dover on Monday night is due to appear before Folkestone Magistrates this morning.

Antoine Anicotte of Salisbury Road, Dover was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

The handgun recovered by officers after the incident is due to be tested by forensic officers.

An 18-year-old man is still in a serious condition in a London Hospital after undergoing surgery to have a bullet removed from his chest. Police are not expecting to be able to talk to him until tomorrow or Friday.
