Arsonists start £10,000 blaze at school

DAMAGE estimated at about £10,000 was caused when a shed at a primary school in Wayfield Road, Chatham, was destroyed by fire.

Police say arsonists were responsible. The incident is reported to have occurred between 7.45pm and 8.25pm on Saturday, March 3.

Det Sgt Noel Stanley, who is investigating the crime, said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who may be able to help us with this investigation and would ask those who know who may be responsible for starting the fire to come forward."
