Gills manager Martin Allen has issued an open invitation for fans to watch the club train.

The Gills regularly train from 10.45am on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at the Beechings Cross facility in Gillingham.

"Our training ground is always open and welcoming to our supporters," said the Gillingham boss.

"The players have to be at the training ground at 10.30am for a 10.45pm start and if you are bored, out of work and fed up, I guarantee we will make you welcome. I don’t care how many turn up."

Allen also praised the 388 fans who backed his team to victory at Northampton on Tuesday night.

He said: "It is a buzz to see so many people there. It wasn’t an easy second half to watch but our players hung in there and wrapped up the three points."

Fans should check with the club’s media department before travelling to the training ground, to ensure the players will be there.
