Brenchley house wrecked in car crash

Police are hunting a driver and his passengers after a car smashed into a house caused it structural damage.

The incident happened in Pearsons Green Road, near Brenchley, at 5.40pm yesterday.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "A grey Renault Clio collided with a house resulting in structural damage to the premises.

"It was reported that the driver and passengers left the scene of the incident, possibly in another vehicle.

"A structural engineer was called to assess the damage to the house and the car was recovered by police.

"Further inquiries are being made by officers about the incident."
