Forget film themes or chart-toppers for your mobile phone ring tone - how about wild animal sounds.

The Aspinall Foundation which runs Howletts and Port Lymne wild animal parks is making a variety of animal noise ring tones available to download.

So if you fancy being alerted to a call by a funky gibbon, hunting dog or elephant, now is your opportunity.

The sounds can be downloaded from www.totallywild.net with the £1.50 cost of each ring tone going to the Aspinall Foundation for its conservation work with endangered species.

Listen to the ring tones, which are in order, siamang gibbons, African hunting dogs, guinea baboon, diana monkey, Malaysian tapir and African cow elephant.
