Artists are often looking for new ways to express themselves but Ian Cook went the extra mile when he visited Brands Hatch.

Using a go kart, a Caterham R300 sportscar, a Formula Two single-seater, a racing bike and a 6-tonne truck he created a 50 square metre work of art.

The painting was commissioned by oil and car care company Comma, to launch a £2 million motorsport tickets giveaway at www.commaoil.com/tickets.

Cook swapped his signature paint-covered radio-control cars for real vehicles for the first time in his career to generate the giant image which celebrates British motorsport.
