Children's clothing stores could close

More jobs could go in Kent as another retailer applies for administration.

The children's clothing giant Adams, which has eight of its 500 stores in the county, has emerged as another possible victim of the retail crisis.

The announcement came the same weekend Woolworth started its process to close its 800 stores.

Despite the economic slowdown, Bluewater has had one of its most succesful weekends to date.

However the centre's retail manager James Waugh said they are predicting a "challenging" year ahead.
