Driver critical after A28 crash at Great Chart

A motorcyclist is critically ill in hospital after a crash with a 4x4 on the A28.

The 22-year-old man was taken to the William Harvey Hospital after the collision at Great Chart near Ashford just before 7am today.

The driver of the 4x4 vehicle is not said to be injured.

The A28, at the junction of the Ashford Road, Great Chart and the A28 near the Blue Barn equestrian centre, is now said to have been reopened.
