EuroCanterbury stars Natalie Seymour and Abi Walker have been named in the Great Britain squad for the FIH Champions Trophy in Argentina.

The aces are also named alongside clubmate Dilly Newton in the party for a four-nation warm-up tournament in Cordoba next month and a training camp in Barcelona at the start of January.

GB will face hosts Argentina, Commonwealth silver medallists New Zealand and Korea between January 18 and 22 before the Champions Trophy which runs from January 28 to February 5.

All three are named in the 22-strong squad for Cordoba while keeper Walker and defender Seymour (pictured top) are part of the 18-strong party for the Champions Trophy, which is the last world ranking event before the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

GB have been drawn in Pool A alongside new world number one the Netherlands, Olympic silver medallists China and Japan, ranked ninth.

Great Britain qualified for the Champions Trophy after England finished fifth in the 2011 competition in the Netherlands in July.

Newton, a defender, (pictured below) made her international bow in the 5-0 series victory over fellow Olympic qualifiers the USA in San Diego this month.

GB will play three practice matches in Spain during a training camp between January 4 and 8.

Later in the year GB’s women will play the Olympic Test Event at the Olympic Park in May and the Investec London Cup in June.
